I just had an amazing stay in a cozy cottage surrounded by lush jungle. The location was perfect, close to the beach and yet secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, with a screened-in porch that had a breakfast bar/sink. The owner was delightful and always available to help without compromising our privacy. The friendly dogs added to the charm of the place. If you're looking for a unique and affordable stay with a touch of nature, this is the place for you.
It's unfortunate that the property was run down and not as depicted in the pictures.

I recently stayed at Chippewa in Negril for a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, right across from 7 Mile Beach. The grounds are picturesque, with adorable buildings and breathtaking views of the mountains and Great Morass. The owner, John, and the staff, Nadine and Steve, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were cozy and well-designed, and I loved the ability to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. Chippewa Village is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.
